Synopsis: Like a Drug
Cyberpunk meets art-lit. A group of underground art-fiends scrape out a living in a society where art is smothered. Late at night they attempt to bring flashes of colour to a city of grey and reclaim their humanity through art.
Cops and sentinels prowl the night, uncovering pockets of these transhumanist outlaws and bringing them in, removing their tech and confining them in lawless prisons. Humanity has lost what makes it human: art, music, and passion. To a few, living beyond the law is preferable to living without life. They live hand-to-mouth in abandoned buildings on stolen electricity. The art-fiends improve themselves as they go, crafting the visions that plague their minds on public land and buildings, seeking to force humanity to remember what it has forgotten and turning themselves into works of art.
