“You there!” He called into the room. “What’d you do to the egg? Is it some sort of spell?”
The lady looked over at him from under heavy black eyebrows and smiled. “Here.” she said, holding up the egg, “Catch.” With that she threw the egg at Robert.
He didn’t have much time to react, and her aim was perfect. The peculiarly shimmery blue egg hit Robert in the forehead and cracked open.
