Synopsis: Music of Fate (working title)

21-year-old Paul O' Henry, who finds himself in shoulder-deep in love with music and financial issues, makes a musical instrument for his girlfriend. As a surprise, he decides to propose to her after playing the music. But a magical portal opens up, whooshing her away. He must save her and this other world, with the help of a tomboy named Bren, facing the dangers of the Forest Of Voices, an agressive plant-like creature that wants them at its nexts meal, and bloodthristy Nrika that can shapeshift into an almost human form. Not to mention that before Paul left, a mysterious customer offered Paul a large sum of money for the instrument he'd made. Will he succumb to the dark lure of this world or save his girlfriend who may or may not already be dead?
