Brief Author Bio: Another year, another novel. And this year, we introduce my narrator to the world. I'm excited to explore his quirky personality while at the same time juggling school, a social life (which will go down the drain by week three), not making my blood sugar crash with caffeine and spending a healthy amount of time in the sunlight instead of chained to my keyboard. I am uber excited for this year's NaNoWriMo and I even have my own new set of songs that will give me inspiration, including but not limited to The Hamster Dance and The Pitch (Spectacular, Spectacular) from Moulin Rouge. So far I've recruited three new people and have forced everyone who participated last year to participate again. They have no choice. >:] |

Synopsis: The Power of the Scrunchy Face
How to explain my novel in a nutshell? Let's see. If you mix the Salem Witch Trials, Frankenstein, The Phantom of the Opera, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Count of Monte Cristo, Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Fox and the Hound in a blender and then add a good dose of mild insanity plus selfish optimism and multiply all that by the square root of pi, you've barely brushed the scope of my novel.
Everybody, meet my narrator. He's an architect, an actor, someone's creation, a gentleman, an artist, a fire-eater, a troubadour, a first-rate stalker, an innkeeper, a husband, a father, a cunning genius, a charismatic and vengeful leader bent on punishing my antagonist---oh, and did I mention he has a British accent?
Excerpt: The Power of the Scrunchy Face
"Between experimentation and imminent death, I choose experimentation. True, if it was between being thrown into a pit of spiders for five years and death, I still wouldn't choose death, so it's not like the choice was all that difficult."
