Synopsis: In Sanity We Trust / Four Minutes Until November

If you've ever read Peeps by Scott Westerfeld, you'll understand the the type of format I wish to use. Basically between major parts (or chapters, I haven't decided) there will be a sort of mini lesson/essay type thing on a different aspect of mental illnesses. Don't worry, it will be really interesting.

My main character is a a young girl who lives in constant fear of mental illness. After what happened to her mother, she's scared of anything to do with it. She tries diagnose everyone around her with some sort of mental illness.

But what happens when she's put into a psychiatric institute?

Four Minutes Until November
This is an idea that struck me about four days before the start of nano. It will be about a 20,000 word Novella. About 10 parts, alternating views between the two main characters.
A lot f it is based on real life, for its a novella about NaNo.
The story follows two characters, Abby Emerson and Simon Morrigan, while they try to live through November and come out sane. The two met on Halloween, where Simon explained to fellow writer, Abby, how NaNoWriMo works. She was instantly hooked, and became so incorporated into her novel and into the goings on of her region (SLC region, just so I can keep it accurate) that she doesn't even notice she's falling for Simon until its too late.
