Synopsis: Fade Out/Voyage
Fade Out
When you're forced on the run, you're going to get hurt. Maybe not physically but mentally. Your sanity could be at risk. And no matter how far you run and how long you run for, they'll always find you. And then you're in trouble.
Voyage
Drifting forever in space. In a spaceship, larger than any other. When you're thirteen years old and you're one of the chosen six teenagers, what do you do for the rest of your life?

Fade Out
Mabel
I am drugged up to my eyeballs but I do not care. I am getting out of here. I am going to save them. The police force has done damn all for me lately and I am not going to sit back and wait for them to find my friends dead. They all say I am traumatised. They say I need rest, I need pumping full of drugs, I need to stay out of their way. I rise from my bed like a zombie, as if I’m in a dream. Nurses kindly tell me to get back into my bed but I ignore them.
Voyage
I’ve been chosen. Oh no. I’m doomed to a life of loneliness and darkness. My family are ecstatic for me, filled with:
“Well done, Flick,” and “I knew you’d make it.” But I don’t want to go. I don’t know why they’re so happy I got it, if I go I’ll never see them again. I’ll just be floating around in space for the rest of my life. Everyone is seeing it as some really good thing, that they’re envious and wish they could be going instead of me. I wish they were.
