Excerpt: The Book of Jack

Jack doesn't know Jill, and he damn sure doesn't run up the hill to fetch a pail of water. Jack is a hunter and he dies only to find the scene awaiting him after death to be much worse than that of his murder. The questions he must ask himself are how did he excape hell, and why did he wake in the Holy Land? Who are Michael, Uriel, and Gabriel, and why does he remember hearing their voices? They are all questions he must find answers to before he can stop the end of the world.
