an excerpt

“What do you want?” I repeated.
He leaned down. “Truth, or dare?”
I looked away, because last time he had learned too much from me. “Dare,” I said softly.
“Are you sure?” he asked as softly as me. His lips kissed me gently.
“I guess,” I said, and he laughed. Sure and guess do not go together. He reached back, an odd movement, and I realized he was floating, se easily. that was superheroes for you. He levitated above the bed slightly as he went back, and leaned down by tipping his legs up, grabbing something.
A variety of items landed on the bed by me. First, a silk blindfold. It felt soft and cool on my eyes. Then I heard the clink of handcuffs.
I felt the cold metal on my wrists and felt myself get excited. my stomach tightened a bit, just having them on me, and i swallowed heavily. He stretched my hands over my head, and somehow hooked them on something.
I felt my ankles cuffed by something soft, and furry. I could feel his hands run up my leg, though I couldn’t see them. I could feel myself loving this, even as I lay there quiet, not sure of anything.
His hands gently, lovingly, undressed me, taking the clothes off like unwrapping a present.

“You promised,” he reminded me sharply. “And your choice is this, or truth.”
I was silent.
He took my silence for an agreement, which I suppose it was. I could have spoken up. Was I really this curious?
“,” his lips were next to my ear, his breath hot on my face.

“What if it hurts too much?” I asked.
“That’s why you’re tied down. You can’t do anything.”
