an excerpt
the concept of truth has been debated by philosophers for thousands of years. it's a real tricky one. they can't pin down the nature of actual truth. that doesn't bother me. the various degrees of truth, whether it's absolute truth, whether truth even exists? those concepts simply don't affect me. not because i'm made out of stone, but because i'm a liar. lying is a way of life. i'd probably go so far as to say it's the way of life. you lie to get out of trouble, to protect someone's feelings, to make yourself sound more interesting to the person you want to sleep with. you lie, it's a fact. i'm almost definitely going to lie several times while i'm writing this, simply because if i don't, it'll just be another dull, ordinary life like yours. and why would you want to read about that? you could just pay attention to your own life, (which you obviously don't want to do, or you wouldn't be reading) if you wanted something so mundane as that.
