Brief Author Bio:

I write the way I fly: by the seat of my pants.

Synopsis: Divine

Daniel never really did like Wednesdays. They were boring at work, and he always felt as if the weekend was dangling just out of reach. Then, one Wednesday, Daniel discovers that he is actually Michael the Archangel, General of the Armies of Heaven. Now he has to learn how to fight, lead an angelic army into battle against the forces of Hell, keep a descendant of Jesus of Nazareth's bloodline safe, and stop Lucifer from storming Heaven and erasing humanity's plane of existence, all while dealing with the news that he is not who he thought he was. Not by a long shot.

Daniel will probably never like Wednesdays again.

Excerpt: Divine

“Lucifer’s forces are moving. We think Mephistopheles is here, taking command for him. They’re planning on finding the Key. We need to mobilize quickly, to stop them.”

“We…?”

“Daniel,” Gabrielle sighed slightly, and placed her hands on his shoulders. “We need your help. You are Michael, the Archangel Defender of Heaven.”

Daniel’s laugh wouldn’t come this time. Neither would a scream, which he was beginning to feel was far more appropriate. He closed his eyes and leaned back against the plywood nailed to the wall. “You’re kidding me, Gabby. You’re not actually serious about this. You can’t be, it doesn’t make any sense!”

“I am making perfect sense. We need you to unleash your potential and drive back Lucifer again. I don’t know how much time we have. Raphael has already left, and is on his way to begin collecting the angels scattered across the planet.”

Daniel shook his head. “No, no, no! This – we’ve known each other for years! Why do you think you can just come up to me and make these ridiculous claims to me out of nowhere? Look, Gabby, is something actually wrong? If something is actually wrong,
I will help you out. But this…this is insane!”

Gabrielle took a step back, and examined Daniel’s face. “You don’t believe me, do you? Even after these years?”

Daniel sighed. “I’m sorry, Gabby. I want to, but…this is just crazy talk.” He closed his eyes, and his head hung down. “I’m sorry.”

“Daniel. Look at me.”

“I don’t know if I can.”

“Daniel. Look. At. Me.”

Daniel opened his eyes and looked. And froze in place.

Gabrielle had wings.
