Gabby, her ways and her scar
an excerpt

At five years old Gabby had her first imaginary friend. She was called Zoe and she was her imaginary twin sister. There imaginary mother was dead and their imaginary father had sent them over to England to be with their imaginary Auntie Catherine. They had grown up with her and now were in teacher training. When Gabby was at school they were learning how to be a teacher, but when at home they were classroom assistants. At night they slept with the children because it was a boarding school.
Her life carried on like this in many ways it was a little mundane, but some days have more slightly interesting and intriguing stories. On went like this:
A normal day until Gabby returns home and turns to her imaginary world. How Gabby has a husband called Rick. They had two twin children called Tiffany and Ranya. The family had their own little room in the boarding school. This was the reason for the interesting day. When she came home the imaginary headmistress was waiting for her with some bad news. It was evidently too expensive to house them all in comparison to Gabby’s wages. They were being kicked out and Gabby had lost her job, but why, that’s what she wanted to know. Why, why oh why? Just because she was a student teacher, the cost of their living outweighed her wages. She thought it was not fair. At that exact moment the headmistress told her that like was not always fair. That was it. The final straw. Gabby flung herself in anger at the headmistress. They fought like cats. Scratching, scraping and clawing at each other. Then the headmistress scratched Gabby with her long French manicured nail. All the way across her face, from ear to ear. Blood all over Gabbys face and all over that long fingernail of the headmistress. Then Gabby ran off, once she left the room the worlds snapped back.
It was imaginary, but something was different.
Verity commented on it first when Gabby went into her room because she was extremely bord now that Verity had loads of homework to do.
