'I still don't see why they're shipping you off to boarding school,' Seth thought.
"I can, your mom doesn't want anything to do with me, and Dad wants me out of his hair,"I told him. "And stop thinking, I sound like I'm talking to myself."
Seth laughed,"Sorry, I just think it's cool. I mean how many people do you know that can read minds?"
"Don't say it out loud! Cheryl will hear you,"I snapped. "But you do have a point there. Oh, and can
you open that bottom drawer and put the shirts into this box?" I watched as he slowly walked to the
other side of my bedroom.
"Maybe Dave and Mom will let me apply to Penelton next year," Seth finally said. "Senior year at a
boarding school with boarding school girls? Sounds good to me!"
"Oh my God Seth!" I almost yelled. "Those are thoughts I do NOT want to hear!"
"Right, sorry. I'm not used to people knowing my every thought," He retorted, his cheeks quickly turning crimson. Grinning, I picked up a roll of duct tape and taped up the box I had just finished packing.
"Well that's the last of them,"I said, turning to face Seth.
"I'll take it down to my car."
"I know,"I said walking past him, my smile growing larger when I heard him mutter something under his breath.
