Sweet Nothings

Tana fell onto her back, sweat oozing from every pore. Sit-ups had been her torture of choice for the week, but she now doubted her decision. Twinkies called to her, their little voices floating on the ceiling fan driven breeze from the kitchen. No, they didn’t actually say anything, but Tana heard them loud and clear. More importantly, her stomach heard them.
“Damn you, Twinkie the Kid!” Her voice echoed off the high ceiling of her living room followed by a loud groan as she began her self-induced torture anew.
