Synopsis: Rain

A 'sequel' to last year's NaNovel, Hydran Howard Owen had a spectacular day until he came home to an empty house. The novel begins as he spirals downward, certain that he controls water, and creates a daughter of such who joins him in searching for his missing wife while his ongoing dream takes him on a journey through an everlasting desert. His friends see him acting increasingly oddly, walking in the rain without a jacket, even conversing animatedly with a sloshing pail of water. A mysterious stranger watches as Hydran stumbles through life until one day he finds his wife.
