At 35 years on earth life was just great for Melanie. A degree in psychology, a flat overlooking the Bois de Boulogne in Paris and a comfortable little sum ascending, slowly but surely, in the bank. What more could she possibly wish for? Beauty…? well she actually was Miss Tarn in 19 85, health then ? ….well she ran every week-end twice round Les Deux Lacs with still enough energy to go swimming for two hours in the afternoon . She didn’t even have a doctor come to think of it. Love … ? Listen…a girl that’s invited out three times a week …really do you think she is missing out on love …… ?
It was a bank holiday when she was awoken by her little dog who although he loved his mistress to bits was more interested to get her out of bed to take him out. Getting out of bed was easy…no rushing, time for a relaxed shower, a good breakfast of eggs, bacon and caffé latté. Music was playing loundly on the sterio as she opened the windows to air the flat and dressed in her comfy sportsware for the run in the woods. It was cold, it was November after all but nice and bright. Her favourite type of weather. Her stylish trainers hit the grass and off she went. Her motivation, determination and positive energy sky high.
