Synopsis: Genesis

When North Korea declares war on the rest of the world, everybody expects the worst in terms of weaponry. But when the enemy shows their hand of biological weaponry, the whole world is plunged into a chaos of a raging and deadly virus, and society is all but destroyed.

Yet a band of survivors in the world, still shocked from the superflu, begin to discover that it wasn't nature, but man and government that hid the truth of where the virus came from. When they begin to try and reform a better society, remnants from the past will come back and try to prevent this at all costs.

Excerpt: Genesis

It had been two weeks since the whole fiasco at the UN, and there were reports of a flu epidemic all over the country, and indeed the world. It had been estimated that around half of the world was suffering from sneezing and coughing, and the half who were healthy would come down with it within the month.

John Attingley was sitting at his desk in Downing Street, looking over the reports handed to him by the Secretary of State for Health. The British weren’t doing too badly in the whole scheme of things – a less than average amount of people had caught the superflu. But Attingley knew it was only a matter of time before everybody had caught it, before everybody had succumbed to its deadly grip.
