Synopsis: Realm of Sun & Shadow
Two souls are tied together by the mischevious beings Chaos and Order. They are bound to meet in every life in which the reincarnate. But what happens if they are physically incapable? Wait. Dirt road?
Cyprus frowned. She’d never been here before and she could have sworn, if you’d asked her, that she knew the area for miles around. This wasn’t even a mile from her “little house on the prairie.” At least, she would have been able to earlier. This was highly disconcerting.
SHIT. SERENY, ESME, SHE SEES ME.
She blinked. The world around her had suddenly been replaced by blank, off-white space that looked a great deal like it possessed the texture of construction paper. The voices she had heard were suddenly loud around her, like someone had turned a set of speakers up really loudly in a bathroom with good resonance. What the hell had the voice meant by “she sees me?” She had no idea.
Cyprus blinked again.
