Synopsis: Karma For Camelot

Dr. Guinevere Archer is an undine, living in L.A. with her sister and father in the undine community nestled in the San Gabriel Mountains. She teaches English Literature at the University for Integrative Studies by day, and at night writes science fiction novels.

Dr. Matthias Le Roi is a human genius who remembers everything he reads, but still fights for respect among his coworkers at the magical investigation agency he works for, and doesn’t know the first thing about social interactions.

Avalon Starlight AscendingHeaven, or Stella, is an angel with a huge secret, who recently moved to L. A. to get some space between her and her large, loving but nosy, family after finishing her therapist apprenticeship.

Their lives collide violently when Gwen is kidnapped by a vicious serial killer known as the Camelot Killer, believing her to be King Arthur’s Guinevere. Gwen barely escapes, but the events of that week still haunt her.

Now, almost a year to the terrible date, before their wounds have fully healed, there is a new terror. The Camelot Killer has escaped from prison, and the crime rate spikes overnight. A man who names himself as Kort, the Fisher King, coerces Gwen, Matthias, Stella, and the other agents into a modern day Arthurian quest or he will release a potion that will turn everyone into sociopaths, in a misguided attempt to bring King Arthur back—one way or another. Will Gwen be able to get over her fears of the Camelot Killer, and reconcile her growing romantic feelings for Matthias? Will Matthias ever feel like he belongs, or will his fear of his own mind tear him apart? Can Stella stop being afraid to trust people and take a chance, or will she turn away those who need her help—and regret it forever?
