Brief Author Bio:

I can't remember a time I didn't know how to read, though I do remember carefully sounding out (remember sounding out?) longer words. A precocious reader I read everything I could including Native Son in the fifth grade. I didn't understand the finer points, but I remember the power of the language. After reading Paul Gallico, I decided that the most glorious job in the world was to be a writer. Thirty plus years as a freelance investigative reporter didn't still my desire to write a 'real' book. And so, here I am.
