Hey. I'm Sam. "Dear hoopoe" is the first line of Farid ud-Din Attar's "the Conference Of the Birds", which is one of my favorite poems. I usually photograph graffiti and abandoned buildings. I was born at Yale University. I don't know where most of my family is from. I think Neutral Milk Hotel's "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea" is a work of genius. I have an atlas-like knowledge of Nebraska small towns and rural highways. One of my favorite things to do is to read smutty pioneer love letters at the state archives. (I also love urban exploration, which is a fancy term for "trespassing".) I'm Muslim. I wish I could speak Czech. My mother says that nothing good happens after midnight, but I beg to differ.
