Synopsis: Father and Son

Private investigator Sean Collins doesn't really want to take on another case with a personal element, but that's exactly what he does when he agrees to work with his estranged mother and investigate the untimely death of his stepfather, Richard Ellworth.

What should be a simple case suddenly turns all the more personal and complex when he discovers his stepbrother and childhood best friend, Ben, was with Richard the night he died -- and it's very likely Ben is at fault. The deeper into the case Sean gets, the more personal everything becomes, until he finds himself on a desperate search for the missing Ben, in an attempt to save him from drugs and murder. Addictions, love, grief, and hard decisions entangle themselves as Sean's personal life and his work become mixed in encounters with drug dealers and suicide attempts. Sean must now learn who to trust and who to blame as he proves his worth as a detective, as a friend, and as a human being, before lives are wrecked and the irreplaceable is lost.
