Synopsis: Blood Trail

In the year 2042, Victor Farraday works as a freelance journalist, specializing in the paranormal. Some of his earliest memories are woven into the celebratory atmosphere that occurred when the last true-vampire, Lord Arkyss, was finally slain by special units of the military under the guidance of civilian experts. That was almost twenty-four years ago. Today, he and his assistant—a gnome that fell victim to the Vamp-Morph Virus—are about to embark upon an interview for Victor's latest story. A story that should bring in some much needed cash and more than a little notoriety. Unfortunately, the interview will send him tumbling into a secret that will lead to still others. And those will put his life in danger, if he continues to follow their trail. But can he play it safe and give up on the greatest opportunity of his life?
