The stories say that before First Contact had been made, there was a great battle. That the Champions had desperately fought against the Demons while rain fell from the sky and the winds howled their fury. The Humans had been plunged into a war that had engulfed the world, first with each other and then against the demonic forces attempting to enter their world.
The stories say that the fighting had been vicious and drawn out, with the Humans growing ever weaker in their struggles. But just as the Demons were to claim victory, the Champions had rallied once more. Led by them, the Humans had done the unthinkable – they had won.
The stories say that the Demons had been driven out, the Gates of Hell closed and the Wolf, the Ram and the Hart had been ultimately defeated, driven away from that dimension forever.
The stories say that Humans eventually forgot about the war. Magic was replaced with science and some parts of the war's history descended into legend and myth. No longer held down by the need to drive back the Demons, the Humans took to the stars, expanding and exploring.
The stories say that the Earth was finally safe and at peace.
But…who can say if the stories are true?
