Synopsis: A Kick in the Back of the Face! (working title)
A varied group of Midwestern people meet with an interest to become pirates. What they don't know is that the man orchestrating it has more than an interest. These pirates, however, do not do their pirating in boats, on the sea, they work on the land, on the highways and interstates of America. Their vessels are trucks and their weapons are The group face many roadblocks even before their true pirating experiences begin, forcing those who are truly helping to become ever closer as a team and estranges those who do not. The separation of the crew becomes clear as they begin raiding targets and the conflicts, well, they are extreme.
Excerpt: A Kick in the Back of the Face! (working title)
The Buick stopped and went in to Neutral, the drivers seemed to be nervous, from the way they kept turning to each other, but it seemed like they were willing to quit. Nari got out of her car and made a motion which had its intended meaning, turn off your engine, and they did. Wayne then got out of the Ford and the two walked up to the Buick, ready to confront the men inside. They were both armed, but neither had their weapon out. As they walked towards it, the car suddenly started and flew at the road in front of it, faster than it seemed possible to accelerate. Andrew got out of the way just in time to avoid damage, but the Buick smashed the Ford's right taillight and the right mirror on the Buick flew off, and then came the beautiful moment, though beauty is most certainly in the eye of the beholder.
The Ram was speeding down the hill as soon as the Buick started moving towards the cars, but it seemed unnoticed by the driver of the Black Buick, and the Red Ram bashed straight in to the front of its target, spinning it to face backwards and the Ram went in to the grass on the other side of the road. The Ram had a dent in the hood when it came back to the road, but it was nothing compared to the damage it had done to the other. The entire right side of the Buick's front was utterly crushed and different colors of fluid were leaking on the road in giant puddles. It was, and forever would be, truly unrecognizable.
