Synopsis: The Single Underlying Truth
Aestorel Pendragon does not feel. She doesn’t care about anything, save for the Prophecies that keep the Universe in order. The text tells her what to do, and the mortals there act as her puppets- whether they want to or not.
But it wasn’t always that way. Hundreds of years ago, when she was just a child, she found a most peculiar place, where suddenly the emotions she didn’t know she had came to light. The place was called Hogwarts, and the boy who helped her was named Severus Snape.
Now, after those feelings have long since faded away, she’s returning a second time, and the past will be repeated. Only this time, Fate is making her choose between the man she cares for and her duty. But perhaps the question is not if she should save him from Death, but rather if he wants to be saved.
Those aren’t even the worst of her problems. Her “family”, made up of those employed by her to complete the Prophecies, is in shambles. Ten years ago they were attacked by a shadowy outside force, leaving some dead, and the rest physically and emotionally scarred. Only by solving the mysteries within herself, and those surrounding Severus, can she begin to unravel the secrets of each family member, each more shocking than the next. But perhaps the greatest and most dangerous secret of all lies not within the House, but deep in the forests surrounding it. Could Severus Snape be the key to unlocking it? That may just be The Single Underlying Truth.
