Synopsis: Mercenary Heroes (Working Title)

Being a mercenary is easy money in the border nation of Desia, provided you can stay alive. There's no shortage of work, between troublesome neighbors to the south and monstrous threats from the Western Wilds. But the members of the Desian Mercenary Corp may have reason to start regretting their career choice. Armies are marching out of the Wilds. Not unruly hordes but actual armies, ones that should not be working together, but are. And when the border defenses collapse, its going to be up to the Corp to hold the line.

But even if they all survive the desperate defense, they've got a long road ahead. They've half a country to liberate and myriad foes to fight against, and beyond all that is trying to figure out the cause of this border nation war that is much more than it appears.

Gear up, mercenaries. It's time to earn those gold pieces.
