Synopsis: Ginger and the Homicidal Ninjas

Everything is normal in the life of Ginger Worthe, just out of college, in a boring job where she makes enough money, and no romantic life to speak of...until the day that she opens her door and finds that her world has turned black and white. Things get only weirder when she finds that closing it and opening it again produces a city street! On her third try, things are returned to normal. Is it just an accident? Is it a muck-up in some higher level place in reality? Or...is it a devious plot by a bunch of power hungry ninjas that only she and Dominic, the poor homeless man who's parents were murdered in his youth, know about?
Just a hint: It's the last one! And believe you me, that's only the beginning!

Excerpt: Ginger and the Homicidal Ninjas

"Good morning, Ginger."

Ginger turned very, very slowly to the radio, her heart beating like a jackhammer.

"Ginger, I figured it was time we talked," the radio said. It sounded like it was smiling.

'Oh my god,' Ginger thought. 'The radio IS TALKING TO ME!'

"Ginger, you might have figured something about by now. You're not, if you'll excuse the pun, quite in Kansas anymore."

Her inner English Major took control of her mouth. "Allusion," she said, but it came out as a croak so she cleared her throat and tried again. "That's an allusion."

"I beg your pardon?" the radio asked in a manner that suggested it was raising its eyebrow.
