Synopsis: Starlight Notes

In a world that manages to meld industrialism and magic into a perfect blend of power, a world divided by a global war, there is a girl named Lorelei. A slave.
Since she was captured traveling across war zones, her parents killed and family lost, Lorelei has dreamed of escaping the castle she is bound to. She wants out- of the city Esoptra, out of the clutches of the royal family of Bellarea, out of her current life and back to her old one.
When one of the palace servants dies by thier own hand, Lorelei is the one to discover the secret the woman kept- the knowledge of a secret tunnel straight under the city walls and the rune-magic needed to break a slave-bond. Not knowing what awaits her in the free world, Lorelei escapes in the dead of night. Her plan: to make her way across the vast country of Bellarea, into Apeiro, search for her family and unravel the mystery of the night her life turned upside down.
Lorelei journeys across war-ravaged landscapes, stowing away on the trade ships and stealing any food she can find. Along the way, she is drawn into the tale of a group called the Resistance, who promise they can help her..... if she will help them. There is a secret behind the war, intwined with the stories of the Resistance and a shadowy, powerful group called the Black Knights; and Lorelei is the one who will find the power within herself to bring it to an end.
