Juliet carefully pulled the outfit out of the shopping bag, then laid it out flat on the kitchen table. She did a double take as she looked at it. A bumblebee. An honest to god bumblebee. First of all, she couldn’t believe that they made bumblebee Halloween outfits for dogs. Second of all, she just couldn’t believe that Macy was going to make Oliver wear this darn Halloween bumblebee outfit. She cast a sympathetic look at Oliver, who was obliviously chewing on his favorite toy across the room, unaware of what was about to be asked of him in the name of Juliet’s grand experiment. She sighed. It was a hard life, being a dog.

“Oh wait a second,” Macy said, grabbing a hold of the outfit. “That’s not Oliver’s.” She wrinkled her brow.

“Well, what is it?” Juliet asked as Macy grabbed the shopping bag back from her and rummaged through it. “Oh, here we go,” she said, pulling another, smaller yellow and black ensemble out of the shopping bag. “This one’s Oliver’s…” she began. Juliet looked at the first, larger yellow and black outfit with a growing feeling of dread filling the pit of her stomach. Before she could even say anything, Macy answered for her “…and that one’s yours.”
