Brief Author Bio: A native New Yorker, I was transplanted to Los Angeles midway through Junior High School. It’s never a good time to move from NY to LA but during JHS is definitely a mistake. I wanted to be either a scientist or an artist but didn’t think I was smart enough to be a chemist or biologist, and art wasn’t practical; so I studied the behavioral sciences, supplementing with a heavy dose of philosophy. My careers so far have included behavioral researcher, learning specialist, radio copywriter, sound engineer, assistant to TV producers, computer science book editor, and, most recently, instructional designer. I have one grown daughter, to whom I dedicate all my creative work. |
