Sydney Young was the first to admit she wasn’t a genius (she had even been tested for that) but she knew a few things for certain. She knew that no matter what her best friend in the entire world told her, mauve doesn’t look good on girls with black hair. She knew that “mind erasers” don’t take away your ability to remember, just your ability to think rationally. And she knew, with out a shadow of a doubt, that weddings were designed as a form of torture by married people to remind single people just how crappy they are as a human being.
