Synopsis:
Once long ago, two souls were created by Mother Earth's hand. One of the Sun, one of the Moon. Both different in looks and blood. They in turn birthed their own races. Attidtudes clashed between the two, and their people, lives were unjustly lost.
Disgusted, Mother Earth cast out the Caelum Children. Cursed, they are forced to live among the lowly - the humans - dying only to be reborn. Until fate brings them their love - in form of one of the lowly themselves.
To live again in the heavens, the children of the Caelum must find their mate in the very thing they detest, a mortal and a Caelum Childe combined, a semianimus.
"Of the moon and sun you were born,
Of night and day you are cursed,
Alter your shape– my darlings,
Become your inner beast.
As the seventeenth summer comes to pass,
True purpose is seen in thy witching glass.
Walk the Earth, you shall, forevermore.
Sentenced to live for all of time.
‘til enemy’s true love embraces thee.
So here I cast–
….so mote it be."
--- Mother Earth
Rayne Storm had always believed that she'd been cursed - she'd just never realized exactly how right she was.
Excerpt:
It’s official.
I’m doomed to a life of sucky-ness and confusion.
There is also a seventy-five percent chance that God was taking a power nap when I was brought into this world. My reasoning behind such is that both my siblings are perfectly normal and they were born only a few minutes before myself.
Case in point, I’ve been cursed… several times. Several! I mean come on, wtfrench man?
Curse Numero Uno: Rayne Storm.
Nope, I’m not predicting the weather here… that’s the name my ever loving parents gave me.
And it get's worse.
Thanks Curse Gods.
