Synopsis: Magical Bride Strawberry Kelsey
Today should be the day that everything changes for the 22 year old Kelsey, but it didn’t change in the way she expected. Just before she was going to lose her virginity to her new husband, Devin, she was called to resume her old magical girl duties from her childhood. She knew that as long as she was a virgin, she would be bound to answer the call of the fruit pies, and even eloped three months ahead of her wedding in order to forfeit her duties to a new girl. The fruit pies used a rarely used loophole that binds both her and her new husband to her magical girl duties and it also prevents them from making love until the mission is finished. Now, Kelsey has to find the 20 diamond hair strands from hot guys before the veggie stews do, and Devin has to help in a quest that tests the new couple’s limits.
Excerpt: Magical Bride Strawberry Kelsey
I love kelsey, ever since the day I met her about three years ago when we were both sophomores at college. She was a nice and graceful young woman, who just wanted to be a formidable wife to the perfect guy one day, that and bake some strawberry shortcake. But she’s sweet and caring and I found her to be the same. Our families connected fast and we planned for a wedding right on valentine’s day last year after I proposed to her on the beach at the end of last summer. I didn’t have a diamond at the time, I just had a cheap plastic ring, but she didn’t care, she knew that I was sincere.
So when she started trying to rush the wedding to the point that she would elope to las vegas after making plans for a wedding on the pier on the most romantic day of the year, valentine’s day, I was floored and baffled. It wasn’t like her, and I knew she was hiding something and not telling me for some reason. And after I heard her talking to her old boss in the bathroom on our wedding night, I figured that she wanted to make sure I wasn’t sucked into her old job and that we would live our lives as adults, and not her being forced to repeat her childhood, which was less than graceful, which I saw at full display at 4:30 am this morning.
“Kelsey,”, I said to her as woke up to her lousy rendition of some japanese pop love song. “Stop singing, it’s terrible, and I can’t understand the lyrics. I’ve never seen you do this before, ever. Is this your secret habit, or is it something from your old new job?”
She ignored me for several more minutes, as I slowly got up from the bed of our bedroom in what was my bachelor pad. I walked up to the bathroom and started to talk to her slowly.
“What’s going on, here?” I said again.
“Huh?”, my wife finally responded. “I don’t know what got into me, I used to do this when I was younger…”
“As in when you used to be a magical girl?”, I asked her.
“Yeah…” she said. “I guess all of the quirks that I used to have when I was doing my job then are coming back now. I remember slipping on the way to the bathroom, it doesn’t hurt, but it’s somewhat embarrassing to know that years of work went down the drain in little more than a day.”
“Clumsiness?”, I asked. “Singing love songs? What’s next, writing secret love letters to boys and acting like an airhead? Is this reverting you back into 10 years old? I’m going to get this fixed, NOW!”
“DON’T!” she screamed, waving her hands in the air and acting like a little girl. “I’ll get fired.”
“Call perry,” I said calmly. “There’s a way to get you out of this deal without getting you fired and get the woman I love back to me.”
