Synopsis: To Have the World on My Shoulders

Sara, a graduating middle-schooler who hopes to become a fantasy writer, starts seeing weird dreams and visions of another dimension, and eventually gets caught up in a mad and twisted scheme involving discovering magic powers, dragons and other mythical creatures, magical gems with immense power, an ancient organization dedicated to protecting its world and the gems through magic, and a sorceror whose evil knows no bounds. but how can a girl preserve the futures of billions of lives when she's afraid of her own future!?

Excerpt: To Have the World on My Shoulders

Norn gazed at me from across the room, a small smirk playing across his dark, foul lips. In his right hand was the dark blade YaFernin, and his left fist crackled with magic of the blackest kind. His dark robes billowed around him as his dark magic gathered. His demeanor was one of absolute confidence.
I could not have been more different. For one thing, I was left-handed. I was dressed in the sacred white armor of the elves, and the katana blade CelestLam was my weapon. I was also-literally- quaking in my boots. I had no idea how to fight this evil sorcerer! What on earth was I supposed to do?! After all, words had already failed on the insane man…
Norn answered my question for me. He suddenly rushed at me, swinging YaFernine in a wide arc. I barely had time to lift my sword to lock blades with him.
And thus, the battle, on which hung the fates of two worlds and billions of lives, begun…
