All right, seriously then. :3 My name is Alicia Barnard (BAR-nrrd, NOT brr-NARD); online I'm most commonly known as SG or Wyrdfayth. I have a wonderful husband, Thomas aka Fayt; and a beautiful daughter, Ember, born October 6th of this year. I signed up for NaNo after a friend mentioned it on Facebook; it seemed a perfect pastime given I was the next day going to be without internet access for nearly two weeks, had wanted to get back into solo writing for a long while anyway (I text-based RolePlay), and thought it would be an easy enough hobby to have while caring for my daughter. In addition, I'm sure it won't seem as easy once I start, but I actually laughed at the thought of focusing on ONLY word count... SG rants... a LOT... xD I've honestly had people- friends even- multiple times tell me that they did not reply to my posts on forums because they'd feel dumb with a short reply after my ludicrously lengthy replies. xD To the first claim of this, I responded, "You shouldn't feel dumb because I'm incapable of expressing my thoughts without such ridiculous length" (or something very similar thereto). ... It took about five minutes for me to realize: ".. << I guess I could have said 'It's not your fault I can't do short and sweet." xD So this ought to be pretty fun, hehe. And on that note, I'm going to quit before ranting any longer here. 'xP
