Favorite writers: Shakespeare, Wilde, Adams, Pratchett, Gaiman, Tolkien, Pullman, and a few TV writers that I admire, but this list is getting too un-pretentious as it is

Favorite music: a whole smattering of indie stuff, probably leaning heavily towards the Decemberists this year, as I'm feeling a bit steampunk and they're as close as I can get (also, the BSG soundtrack, because it makes me happy)

Non-noveling interests: reading, wasting time, anime, video games, cities, odd stores, walking, getting killed by "real life"
