Excerpt: Finding God Under the Bell Curve
Magdalene Kentucky Metcalfe began drinking coffee in the last year of her life. Maggie, as her friends called her, had always been intoxicated with its smell and would wander in and out of coffee shops at the mall inhaling the aroma. Yet she was never tempted to stop and buy any. She had tried it once and immediately lost all affection for it. To Maggie it was a bitter drink.
And now at the age of 29, she had gone from non-consumer to addict in three weeks.
