Shades and Echos
an excerpt
Brian took a hold of her thighs and buried his face inside of them. They were alabaster pink, ruddy from their exertion, and cool to the touch- so that if her skin hadn’t been so soft, Brian might have sworn at times that they were indeed malleably sculptures of silken stone.
It felt sooooo good to be inside her… He’d had the hots for Brie now for almost three months, and being the type of guy that normally got the girls without even trying, Brian wasn’t used to wanting for such a “long” time. Popular, muscular, smart and athletically handsome, he fit into all the clubs and all the cliques at school, and he floated in between them easily, making friends with everyone around him- including his college professors.
But Brie had been part of the one clique he couldn’t quite get his mitts on- the dramatic, artsy crowd, (he never quite got the reason for so much hubbub over stuff that didn’t actively DO anything in The Real World, so he failed to catch much of the meaning in such artistic endeavors), and he’d lusted after her ever since he caught one of her dance performances in the auditorium one night during a mandatory school recital. Brilliantly shining, bright red curls decorated her heart-shaped face, cat-green eyes looked out over a delicate constellation of freckles which dotted her cheeks, and her kewpie doll mouth was accented perfectly by her elegant, gently upward-sloping button nose. She had refined features, a long, graceful neck, a perfect hourglass body, and a tiny waist that accented her leanly muscled body perfectly, and framed her ample bosom beautifully. Brian loved to watch the looks on other girls’ faces as his new girlfriend walked on by: He loved relishing the quiet, grim looks of barely-restrained jealousy they all wore in her wake, and how it made him feel like he had won the best prize of all.. the girl every guy wanted, and who all the girls wanted to be.
His fervor renewed by the seemingly endless visions he’d had of her walking past him in the halls, he redoubled his efforts, pushing harder and faster than he’d done before, loving the way she felt around him now. Brie sighed, clutched the back of his short, curly auburn hair with those slight, expertly manicured and now trembling hands, inspiring him to plunge further, ever more joyfully forward. She threw her head back then, and let out a broken, breathy cry that Brian swore at that moment that he’d remember for the rest of his days, and then he found himself being clenched tightly between her strong, slender knees. Brie McAllister’s petite dancer’s body shuddered violently, her knees gripping his ears painfully to the sides of his head even more tightly now, and suddenly Brian realized he couldn’t breathe.
Unconsciously, be began to panic. Seeing red beneath the surface of his eyelids, Brain started pounding the satin-covered mattress with the flats of his hands. Still she kept shuddering, and still, she kept crying out, unheeding, or otherwise oblivious to Brian’s dilemma. Feeling a fiery panic begin in his core that had begun to race a burning red streak into him as it made its way up to his head from his sternum, Brian tried valiantly to pull Brie’s legs off of him, attempting to pry his way out of her death-lock grip.
Nothing doing...
His lungs began to seize up then, tightening and unclenching painfully as they tried in vain to pull oxygen out of air that simply wasn’t present.
Careening wildly on the edge of conscious thought, Brian started to see small, grey stars appear before his closed eyes. From somewhere off in the distance, Brian could swear he heard the sound of a woman laughing. ‘Holy shit- did Brie think this was a game???’ Still, she kept her legs locked around his head, and still, his ears pressed painfully into the sides of his skull. His lungs still fighting for breath,, but his hands and arms giving up the fight, that red line that had arisen from the bottom of his sternum reached his head, and the room suddenly lit up.
The next thing that Brian knew was a flash. Bright white and yellow-orange…
And then, nothing else...
