Synopsis: The Chronicles of Flight

Our lives are filled with social anxiety, need to succeed, need to fit in. But last few years it has started steamrolling. Heading toward complete annihilation unless people raise to the challenge. But it's no easy road. Lives are changed, families are broken. People who begin no longer recognize themselves. World is changing people in a way that we don't see. Calling people forward. The people who are strong enough to help. But this doesn't mean that they will. There are challenges. And not everyone will pass. The protagonist has dreams of flight, Ascension. She knows that she has more going for her than what life has cast her in: a cafe barrista with her masters
in Creative Writing and Studio Art. Her creativity has been sapped.

She meets a guy who draws comic books and chalk paintings for his past time. He's so peculiar. Society is going one way, but he walks the opposite, fearlessly. That's one different aspect between them: she resists. She fears. It makes sense to her. It's the world they live in. It's scary. But if you fear, then you accomplish nothing. Fear is traumatizing, which is what happened to her. She's an artist and what an artist cannot do is doubt herself. It messes with her energies. She contradicts herself. People of different cultures fascinates her. Different beliefs. She looks at them for guidance. Her moment of enlightenment, perfect clarity. But David says this
isn't the case. There is no Mt. Sinai. No Divine realization. You respond to what you fell, but through the crap first. Save yourself, save the world.

She knows him sexually. She's frustrated. Tight and
uneasy. Painted. Ill at ease. This wasn't meant to be her world. But David laughs at her. It's all in what she makes of it. To see, to stretch her legs, to let herself do what she knows she can do, when she knows she can do it. So fearful of falling that she doesn't let herself fly. She's jealous. Bucking. David further along than she is. But he reassures. It'll begin to make sense to her. The greater mystery. This is her personal path. Only she can provide herself with answers to the questions she seeks. Nobody else can quell her worries. Her responsibility. Her opposition, the crushing normal cafe. Admin and fellow staff. Their quirkiness isn't enough to make them worthwhile. She wonders if her work is the best level some people can obtain. No room for progress. No where to ascend. Maybe
that's why it is so traumatizing. Support the parents. But they
don't fully understand, either. Feeling anxieties too. Among the
things which they just don't talk about. So confusing. This amuses David much more than it should. He helps her keep her sanity. Greater purpose. Spiritual enlightenment. Losing the fear. Gets self on the right path for her. Ultimately his is trying to put things into perspective for her.

This comes from evolution and the spirit. People who are needed to help. Goes beyond normal knowledge and understanding. This is from a time that was lost. People have gotten wrapped up in things that don't really matter. And we all have fallen that way.

Her name is Angela. David calls her Angel. She dislikes both names and prefers that people call her Meredith, her middle name. Angela Meredith Alexander is her name.
