Synopsis: Flipping Pages

Kate is a writer who lives for her work. She lives in a little 18th century farmhouse in rural Virginia with her greyhound pup Byron and churns out reams of work, much to the delight of her editors in New York. Her boyfriend Tom Clarkson is a chicken cannon loader who fancies himself a poet and shares her love of good tea. They've been together for 5 years, and he always seems to know what she needs and always shows up when she could use a friend. One day Tom disappears and suddenly Kate finds herself at a loss. His clothes appear and then disappear from the wardrobe, his journals are empty and then full of scribblings. A pot of tea she didn't make starts following her from room to room. After a while she starts to wonder whether he was really there at all. Ditto for her friend Chianti the stock broker, and Felicia the tea party-hostessing shoe designer. Is Kate crazy or just really overworked? And, more importantly, will she ever get Tom back?
