Synopsis:
After an argument straight out of Shakespeare, a fairy heads for the human world of the early 19th century, little expecting to become entangled in human affairs.
Excerpt:
Dancers swirled in a complex pattern in the mossy clearing, starlight shining off silver hooves and horns; Atlantia was only sure of the identities of a few of those attending, as there were fey invited by other fey who had been brought along by friends who had been asked by someone whom Atlantia herself had requested come along. That was the nature of a fairy ball. It was fortunate that it was being held outside, near one of the great bridge forests, or else it would have been dreadfully hot - as it was, there was always a breeze or two twisting their way around faces and legs.
