Getting Started with Video
Here's a video explanation of the NaNoWriMo Viddler group at Viddler.com.
Basically, just sign up, join the Viddler group, and then start posting any of these fun types of Nano-related videos:
WordCount: Post daily about your word count and your progress in general. How is your novel going?
WritersBlock: Having trouble? Rant in a video and maybe your viewers can help through comments to the video!
Snippet: 60-second snippet from your novel, read aloud. Keep it short to keep us in suspense for your next installment!
Tag them with "nanowrimo" and the name of the video type (DailyCount, etc.) and add them to the group so that all of us can enjoy them!
Getting Started with Lifecasting
Here's a video to explain the lifecasting process, so that you can broadcast your NaNoWriMo experience... LIVE!
Basically, just sign up at Ustream and make your own channel dedicated to your NaNoWriMo adventures. Make SURE to add the tag "nanowrimo" so that your channel shows up under NaNoWriMo, and then in November, just jump right in to broadcasting your adventures, write-ins, whatever you want to share live. Make sure to get permission if you're going to be broadcasting fellow writers in your region!
Email video@nanowrimo.org if you'd like your NaNoWriMo channel to be listed below.
