Here I am, tucked up away at the top of the Sunshine Coast in Powell River. I'm sure there are some closet novelists somewhere around here. All I can say is - thank goodness for the internet!!!!

Hello Sunny Wrimos!
Still looking for a regional volunteer/Grand Master of Activity for your region. Is anyone interested in organizing a few write-ins, maybe a mini-kick off, should time permit? Just to be the in-person, go-to, since I can't be in all places at once?
That and I can send the GMAs great swag to hand out to the rest of the awesome Wrimos in his/her region.
Sucks that I can't be everywhere at once but I definitely want to help you guys out as much as I can.
Let me know if anyone's interested. If not, no big deal!
Cheers and hugs,
----------Elenya

I'd certainly be interested, but I don't think that my position up here at the top of the peninsula would be central enough. I think there are only two of us here in Powell River this time around . Mind you, as I also work at Malaspina University-College in Powell River I do have access to things that the average bear might not.

Hey CombatKitty,
If you`re interested then that`s all that matters, my friend. :) If you`d like, fire me off a PM with some of your questions or concerns and let`s see what we can do to alleviate them (if you still want the job at the end of my explanations! Oh noes, I`m long winded!!).
TTFN,

If anyone's interested, let me know ... I'm willing ot organize some write-ins. Maybe even one for this Friday???? I might be able to swing something up here at Malaspina U-C (yup, I work here!), but if not an alternate venue can be arranged.
I will most *certainly* arrange something for the half-way point and for the last stretch ... but do be aware that I'll be doing the last stretch one remotely as I'll be in Edmonton for that week (but will certainly be online!)
Happy scribbling!

Hey all you guys and gals up in Powell River (and those in Sechelt who want to make the trek!). I'm planning a mid-month catch-up for next weekend if anyone is interested.
We can do this a couple of ways. We can do it completely online (if you guys are tech-savvy), or for a Saturday in-the-flesh (as it were). I work up at Malaspina, so I could probably arrange for us to be in here for a few hours. We have wireless internet here now, so you could bring your laptops!
Let me know, and I'll see what I can put together!
And if someone wants me to poke them incessently to keep asking for their word count ... I can do that too .
Wheeeeeee! Must go back and type furiously to break 10K tonight!!!!!

Hey, count me in for an online thing ( I'm not to bad with the tech stuff). Oh ya I may need a nudge now and then too.
Happy November 8th! (week two starts) :P

I would totally be up for an in person meet. Though I lack funds at the moment, so I wouldnt be able to go anywhere that involves a ferry (unless it's free, is it free? I'm new).
----------100% awesome.

Howdy guys! Thanks for getting back to me . I know being spread all over the peninsula makes things a little bit difficult, but we can do this - really we can! We can rebuild him ... We have the technology ... oops, wrong channel, not to mention I'm horribly dating myself! I'm ready and raring to do something on Friday or Saturday night online if the rest of you are! We can do something online (if the rest of you have a messenger service of some sort or another), or we can just whip emails back and forth. If you get back to me and let me know which messenger you use (the most popular being Yahoo and MSN) I can set something up.
That is, of course, of you have your power back up again . I went to Vancouver for the weekend and it was absolutely insane trying to get back home again on Monday! That and my life is getting in the way of my writing (of course). And do you want to know the silliest thing of all???? I'm developing an online Writers' Studio here at work (potentially with some big names in the publishing world!) and I haven't even been able to find time to do my *own* writing for the last week.
Wheeee!
