Alright, I have some sort of plot idea, but no idea what genre it would fall under.
Here's a summary:
A guy(lets call him MMC, because i havent thought up a good name yet) fresh out of college, gets the news that he is being forced to share his apartment with another person, due to the rest of available rooms being filled, and the apartments in the complex made for two tenants. It turns out to be a very cutesy, pink girl who had also just gotten out of an arts design college in France. No one is able to hear her because she never speaks, except for the MMC. She is always following him around and he is constantly finding ways to make her day terrible or to make an obstacle for her, but she somehow always brightens things up and overcomes. She annoys the MMC to no end, and he begins to wonder how it is she always manages to get through the day without a scratch from all the things hes done. Then he finds the notebook she always carries around, and finds someone that can read French, as everything shes written is in the language. It turns out some of the things she's written are things that the MMC remembers happening in real life. Everything is written in different colored pens, and he has no way to know what they mean. Even though, while he has it, he figures, why not see what it can do?
Thats basically the idea, and there are also several very random dares from the dares thread im going to mess around with and fit in, so there will be some things out there~
I would be very appreciative if someone could help me figure out which genre this fits in~!

Well, depending on where you go with the whole notebook thing, your story could be an urban fantasy.

Oh, the sarcasm. Just what I needed.
Thankfully, I've had enough odd hobbies over the years that my dad isn't disturbed when he looks over and sees me sketching knife grips and browsing pages on knife-throwing.

Ooh, my turn!
MC has had a recurring dream since she was a very small child. It's the only dream she's ever had. Then suddenly, while she's about seventeen, she starts having dreams about a woman named Victoria who insists the MC is being meddled with by a succubus, and this huge heaven/hell thing is about half of the story (i have plans for it to be a trilogy ... that word makes it sound almost too epic XD). Meanwhile, she has family issues, school issues, therapist things (the family and school think she's crazy and the therapist is trying to prove either way whether she is or isn't), more normal teen drama, and then she gets a girlfriend about halfway through the story.
Iunno ... something feels off about labeling it religious or whatever, because the only thing I take from existing religions is the idea of heaven and hell, but even that I completely turn onto its head and fuck up from the normal concept.
