The idea of the Word War is, for those of you who haven't done it before (that also includes me by the way!) is to keep our average daily word count, as a group, higher than that of the other regions. This will help keep us motivated, and there are also prized involved!
I will shortly be starting a few threads:
1. Word War Rules. If you do want to join in then please read these first!
2. Word War Sign Ups. Those wishing to take part in the War should reply ONCE and ONLY
ONCE to the thread saying so
3. Word War Banter. A place where people from different regions can get together and offer one another 'gentle encouragement'. This thread is intended to be light-hearted and fun, and according to the people who did it last year some jibes and jovial name calling is to be expected, but participants should still follow the main site rules about behaviour
on the boards (and the use of smileys to emphasise the jovial nature of insults is actively encouraged)
That said, I think the only thing that remains is this: Bring it on!
