Hey friends! Its your friendly secon in command wondering if someone (please someone) can help me out with organizing the charity write a thon, if you are all stll on board. Here's a brief list of what I think we could stand to have:

Contact with TV/Radio/News grroups in town. If you've got any of these, I'd love the help
A place to write in, and a time for it
Contact the leaisons at Ozark's Literacy Council. I assume they don't have a problem with us raising money for them, but you never know...

In addition, I was hoping in the off season for some of us (or all of us) to put together a collection of short stories based on our experiences or interviews with cancer survivors. We can self publish this magnificent work and give the proceeds to charity. What do y'all think?

-If you want, call me. 417-631-2656 and let me know. A message here is good too. If I dont pick up I'm likely at work, leave me a message. I have a problem with answering my phone. Ask Gayle....

Allen's working on the place, if you haven't found one yet.

If no one else has contacted the Ozarks Literary Council I can do that. I'm home all day. :)

Sounds like a great idea. I'm not in the best position to help organize things right now, but I'll definately show if you give me the when and where.
