Hello, and yays for making Elsewhere::Israel a bit less quiet :)

My story (as you can imagine from my word count) is going wonderfully. I guess everyone is using Tapuz instead of this forum, for reasons I cannot fathom.

I'm doing archiving, like find the peoples ID in the computer, i even had a office... a temporal job. In Medical clinic.

Where do you work? I'm working in Kefar-Saba, and then i need to take a bus to my home.

I already saw 5 Episodes of Season 3 of Supernatural at YouTube, and I am a member in Supernatural forums, LoTR forum and Mag7 forum, and of course, don't forget Yahoo Groups... *grin*

English on writing is more flewing than Hebrew, in Hebrew i'm stuck, in english is... dammn good.

But this is what times that your code is compiling are for, twenty words here, another thirty there. Before you know it, you've written a thousand words at work.

Unfortunately(?) I'm now doing research into a design problem, so no compiling for me, just a lot of analyzing and thinking and sighing and drawing UML diagrams.

On the Hebrew/English issue. It's wierd for me to write SFF in Hebrew. It always feels strange.

My NaNoPrep was actually to read some translated SF, so I got a lot more comfortable with seeing it, which made me more comfortable writing it. Also, I'm cheating, mine takes place in relatively-near-future Tel Aviv. ;)

I'm being paid to write.

This means that when the working day is over, I'm sitting in the same place in the same position to do my nano. Right now it's not going so great.

Yes. There's really no reason why SF-F can't be written in Hebrew. It's just a psychological barrier.

hey all, just started the other dya and have only begun figuring out all the offerings on the site. So far thigns are going fairly well, I'm currently unemployed (Maybe I should be thanking ,misrad hapnim for sitting on my visa paperwork, as I don't have any excuse to do anything but write now?) so this has become my new pet project, though I have to say, today was a rough day. My current goal is 2000-2500 words per day, but after no less than 4 hours in front of the computer this afternoon I was stuck at 1600 words...ugh, it felt like pulling teeth. Hopefully tomorrow will be better though.

One of the big newspapers. It'll be okay -- we shall all win this thing!

Wow, yesterday I was sure I was going to get nothing done, having only had a few hours sleep the previous night, then needing to get into Tel Aviv to pick up a new fiddle bow, write a 750 word article on Cuban Jews and make dinner for friends. Ended up writing 3600 words and ending the night ahead of schedule for the first time. Article didn't happen, but if it's a day late it's not a huge deal, I'll take care of it today...I hope.

Apparently my Improv training is coming back (used to do a lot of chracter based improv when I lived in Chicago). One of my characters just informed me today that in addition to being an Art History PhD candidate, she's being offered a very generous grant to come research the lowland renaissance masters at the Univeristy of Utrecht. All well and good, but my knowledge of this topic begins and ends with the fact that it exists. Going to need to start doing a lot of research, I think.

How is everyone else coming along? Sivan, I haven't forgotten about your email, hopefully I'll have a chance to get back to you on it this evening.

Well, i'm getting tired, and i do hope that my boss will leave earlier tomorrow, or not come, cause i'm sending my NaNo daily to my mail, and trying to work on it at work, as i got more distraction at home...

I need to write 6k to be far ahead on the timing, and already have some suggestion from mothers about naughty children... until Super Nanny appear...

Yes i am, cause i might not be able to write tomorrow and saturday, have guests and all... and i'm close to 11k. I'm doing 2k per day not 1667. Recently, i growing tired from work, buses, and the weather is not helping... argh...

Though i do have some bunnies for my story, and i think that i'm going to do my 1st with mary sue/Haldir story, as it seems...

One child got sick, and other elfling, is in great danger, and Super Nanny will come later, i want to annoy the elves more.

grrr...my characters just got into a fight, and it look slike it's going to be a big one. That's all well and good, but, I'd been expecting them to have their fight around Pesaj, and it's only february in the sotry right now. Not enough time for them to reasonably have a bg fight make up and hten get in another fight again come pesaj time...maybe they'll resolve it quickly and it won't be a big deal?

ugh.

Yep, it's an old muse that appear in my dream, and i got in on the last minute decide to write it, as i had actually other story idea.

And I already alert my friends and reviews, to forgive me for shorter chapters, that i update weekly.
