I'm a newb here so ignore me if what I'm saying makes so sense, but do you think it would be possible to have a... Perth word war thread?
Because it seems difficult to have a word war with people in completely different time zones.

Forgive me for my ignorance, but what the hell is a word war?

A word war is where you put aside a certain amount of time and write, racing other people to get a higher count. It really helps to push up your tally.
I prefer to do mine over messengers and I usually do 15 minutes.

I see...
Plus, the Perth forums can get pretty inactive during the day sometimes so that would be difficult as well...
Thanks anyway!

So thats a word war. Well I'll definately lose that one. As I've said before, I have an awful habit of not being spontaneous and end up rewriting some of my sentences 2-3 times before I'm happy with it. My philosophy is, if I'm not happy with it, I can't expect others to read it.

Oh! I've been subconsciously doing that with my two writing buddies - I don't know if they're reciprocating, but I try to maintain the middle line. :)
