I'm taking the lack of posts in here this year to mean that everyone except me is writing non-stop. I seem to be finding every excuse in the book this year not to write my novel. I've re-started already - decided I hated my first idea and now I sit and stare at my screen, mind completely devoid of ideas. Guess I'll have to continue using Facebook as a diversion, since the forums are so quiet.

It sure is ... perhaps it is because the site is so slow to load? I know that's why I have been hanging around FB. I also don't want to burnout by over doing. I make m daily gol and have a few words in reserve, just in case I miss a day.
Ok quit goofing off on FB and get writing!!! Just a little good natured butt kicking.

Bahhh XD I haven't been on here because aside from writing, I've been glued to my book, working full time and trying to play DDR and trying to keep my house clean and check facebook and trying to do far too many things, but I figured I would check in. Go wrimosaurs go!!!

I'm just plain frustrated with writing, yet I do it, and I can only really write when I'm in class! It's insane! I find that the site is moving faster now than it was before, but I've taken to spending more time with my roommates and what not, instead of being a computer addict. Trying to break the habit!

I think you're right. The servers have been overwhelmed and unresponsive - that's what kept me from checking-in regularly. They seem to have picked up considerably in the last couple of days, so we'll see if more people contribute.

it is quiet, but that might be a good thing, I know I get distracted by all the bells and whistles the internet offers. Otherwise I would never got past the 20k mark today! Facebook is just too much fun, it has to wait until writing is done.
