So how was your week 1, fellow BC Wrimos?
My week 1 was bit hectic because of work but I managed to stay on track with my word count; my story's slipping a bit, though. I feel like there are so many plot holes that I'm driving right around, because I enjoy avoiding plot holes almost as much as I enjoy avoiding street pot holes! I'm hoping that by some sort of writer's divine intervention, I'll have the inspiration to tie everything together.
What about you? Is your story on track? How's your word count? Are you going nuts yet?

Writing is going really well for me... but I am feeling a bit like I am slowing down, which is too bad as I had a good pace going!
Of course, that may just be because i have been busy these past few days!
Our first get together was not bad - though it was just myself and one other person - we have another thing planned this weekend at a relaxation centre called "The Zen Garden" with hydromassage, light room and relaxation therapy - that should help!

Been having little trouble getting into the groove of things. May have to see if there is a Luddite clause. Half the word count is handwritten and half typed into my computer.

Mine wasn't that great. First of all, I type pretty slowly, Second of all I keep getting writer's block, Third of all I'm a teen and only allowed 1 hour of time on the computer each day, and Last of all my inner editor keeps acting up.
Basically, things aren't going well so far. Just look at my word count.

Wolfkin - Don't let not being allowed on the computer for long periods of time stop you! Do what I do and handwrite your story in a book - then take the time on the computer to write it out! It takes a bit more time and you may not be able to get it ALL on the computer before the end of the month, but at least you will know that you are writing more than your computer time allows.
And to help stop your inner editor from acting up try to do freestyle writing - not your story, but just take five minutes every day to just write - does not matter what you are writing as long as your pen or pencil does not leave the page! Even if it is just "blah blah blah" at least you are getting stuff out. Gets your writing flow going and beats down that editor a bit as there is nothing to edit!
:D
Hope that helps- don't lose faith!
